Barbara A. Heller, Managing Director
Barbara is also a member of the board of directors of Graubunder Kantonalbank GKB (SIX:GRKP) and member of its Strategy Committee (GKB is one of Switzerland’s largest state-owned cantonalbanks and publicly listed), member of the Investment Committee of Transparenta Investment Foundation, Of Counsel at Lemongrass Communications and Vice-Chairwoman of the Swiss CFO Forum, and chairing the Jury of the Swiss CFO Award. Until March 31, 2021, Barbara was a member of the board of directors of Bank Cler Ltd (SIX: BC), chairwoman of the bank’s Audit Committee and member of its Risk Committee. Barbara was holding senior positions as a Managing Director at Bank Leu/Credit Suisse between 1991 and 1997, leading the banks corporate finance & capital markets department, and at Bank Vontobel between 1997 and 2005 in corporate finance, private equity and capital markets and was responsible for various international transactions and ultimately responsible for Vontobel’s life sciences practice. Between 2005 and 2012, she was Chief Financial Officer & Chief Risk Officer at Santhera Pharmaceuticals Ltd (SIX: SANN), a Swiss biopharmaceutical company, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since 2006, and a member of the boards of directors of its subsidiaries in the US, Canada and Finland. Barbara Heller received a Masters’ Degree in Economics and Business Administration, with an emphasis on financial economics, empirical research and banking from the University of Zurich. She has been attending national and international continued educations on a regular basis. Barbara is also coaching board members on topics of board assessments, board composition and governance and lectures in professional and managerial training programs on a broad range of finance, governance and CSR-related topics.
Dr. Christoph Wenk Bernasconi, Senior Partner
Christoph Wenk Bernasconi is a Post-Doc at the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. After the successful completion of his coursework in the PhD program of the Swiss National Bank in Gerzensee, he wrote his thesis on the field of empirical corporate finance and graduated in spring 2013. His research expertise is in the empirical analysis, in particular on topics of corporate governance and corporate finance as well as corporate valuation. During his PhD studies, Christoph Wenk Bernasconi was a teaching assistant for various lectures on the topics of Corporate Finance, Corporate Valuation and methods of empirical research.
